Happy painters today at the Dawn-Treader Christian-School. I must say, I'm so proud of Jarett, nine years old, who came to class under the weather, yet determined to finish his "cherub" painting today. I am in awe of his courage and spirit.

My student Jarred, age ten, asked me to help him paint cherubs. Definition of cherub--a member of the second order of angels, whose distinctive gift is knowledge, often represented as a winged child. Angels with knowledge, something we need a lot more of in this world. Just saying.
