Yesterday, we spoke at length about grisaille painting.

 

The portrait sketch in oil.

 

Very excited to start this new painting. The portrait sketch was done in charcoal and now it's time to start painting. Yeah!

 

My process in painting a portrait: First, a charcoal sketch; then I roughly add acrylic to the painting. After that I use acrylics in a more detailed way, and when all is dry, I end with oil.
