Progression: After blocking in the general shape of the head in charcoal, we will block in the general shapes with acrylics. At this point, there are no details or halftones established.

 

Today we started a new portrait by first blocking in the general shape of the head in charcoal.

 

I will be painting the pear on the left “Alla Prima” during class on Tuesday and Thursday.
